Monarch Facility Services exists because getting a good turf installation shouldn't require three rounds of phone tag and a mystery invoice. We do it differently — and it shows in every yard.

Why Monarch?

The monarch butterfly migrates further than any butterfly on earth — thousands of miles, generation to generation, ending up in the same small patches of Texas and Mexico every year. It's an emblem of persistence, precision, and the long view. That's how we run our business.

The crown in our mark is a reminder that your property deserves to be treated as royalty. The back corner of your yard matters as much as the front. The invisible sub-base matters as much as the turf blades people see. Everything gets the full treatment.

Monarch is a Houston-based, woman-owned company. We started with artificial turf because it's the service our clients kept telling us was hardest to get right. As we grow, we'll add the services our clients want — same crew, same standard.

Jason Alsup

Operations Lead

Jason runs day-to-day operations at Monarch, drawing on years of hands-on facility services work across the Houston metro. Before co-founding Monarch, Jason led field operations at a Pearland-based facility services firm, where he built a reputation for getting the details right the first time. He's the reason our crews show up prepped, our sub-bases come out square, and our jobsites look better when we leave than when we arrived.

Shawn Schumacher

Estimating Lead

Shawn leads pricing and customer experience at Monarch, bringing a career in large-scale facility services across the federal market. As SVP of Government Services at MCS, Shawn has built and priced property management programs for agencies including NASA, the DoD, and DHS. That same discipline — market-grounded numbers, clear scope, no surprises — now anchors every Monarch quote. Shawn holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin.

We tell you what turf will look like in three years, not just on day one. We flag drainage issues before we sign. No surprises, because surprises are expensive for both of us.

Proper sub-base. Compacted base. True seams. Correct infill weight. The work no one sees is the work that decides whether your yard lasts five years or fifteen.

Treat the property as our own.

Gates latched. Tools tidy. Neighbors respected. Jobsite cleaner when we leave than when we arrived. It's the measure by which we want to be judged.

Too many contractors disappear after the invoice clears. We built Monarch to be the company you call when something needs a fix — and we pick up. Long-term relationships are the point, not a nice-to-have.
